I think if they did half stars, I’d go 3.5 on this one. An interesting premise, but it lost me a bit by having so many different people telling the story.

It was hard to rate this one because I started the book, got halfway in before I had to return it on libby and wait 2 months to listen to again; in that time I forgot how the book made me feel.
I'm not a huge fan of longer chapters and these are definitely longer ones.
If you like the debauchery/scandals/crimes of the rich and famous, murder and blackmail, this book might be for you.

It started off promising but none of the characters, like, did anything and it was really boring by the end. No one was compelling and the “mystery” fell flat.
