I really wanted to like this, but I just couldn't get into it! The plot had so much potential, so I'm sad that it didn't hold my interest.

This book wants to be a Lucy Foley book, but falls flat. Entertaining enough to see what happens, but I don’t see myself reading another book by this author.

UGHHH. The idea of this book was so good and really fed my desire for rich people drama after finishing White Lotus, but...not enough diversity. I just can't do it. I have such a hard time now with books that are just all white.

I literally could not keep track of the stories of the 3 POV female characters: Annie, Nikki, and Jess. I just finished the book and I could not tell you who was the housekeeper, who was the personal assistant, and who had the one other random job.
And then we've got Adam, Ned, Kurt, Ron, Jackson, Freddie, Keith...

Oohhh I devoured the audio book in 24 hours. Thought it was juicy to listen to- liked how all the characters intertwined in the plot and thought the writing was decent!

I really wanted to like this but could not get into it. I didn’t care about the characters and got bored by unnecessary descriptions. Loved “People Like Her” though and would give another Ellery Lloyd book a try.
