This was epic and solidified the first few volumes as some of my favourites. Getting to hear my absolute favourite sandman stories of all time (24 hours and Collectors) in this format was incredible. I have also timed this excellently as Act II comes out end of this month, cannot wait.

The quality of this audiobook was through the roof. The voice acting, the sound design, THE THEME SONG, all met my high expectations of a project of this magnitude.

Could James McAvoy narrate all the books please? Could this be a thing?

While some chapters where inherently more interesting than others (why cats?), the ones that hit the nail on the head made up for the few that fell flat for me. I'm seriously looking forward to further instalments!

A really fantastic full-cast audiobook production. This was not just a reading, it's truly full cast with music, sound effects, etc... Full dramatization!

I never read the source material (gasp!) but know it by reputation. I was really enthralled by the first half of this as it was one complete story that maybe covered five or six issues of the comic. After that initial chunk of story it became episodic like an anthology comic and I was less interested. That is the only reason I knocked off a star.

Overall, it was super excellent and it you have ANY interest in this, give it a listen and you'll love it.

Such a great collection. I haven't read these in many years. The audio adaptation, more of a theatrical radio performance than an audiobook, was brilliant. The story of the imprisoned muse is haunting.

The audiobook is a masterpiece, with extremely talented voice actors. I had more fun with this than reading the comics even.

Sometimes visceral, often dreamy. Delightfully imaginative stories woven in dark Fantasy, traces of horror, and linked in an arc.

The conjurations of "24 hours" (Doctor Destiny) shall live long in memory.

Gaiman is back in my good books (Norse Mythology got a 5, American God's got a 2). Whether or not the experience was enhanced by faultless voice acting shall remain to be seen.

11 hours well spent!
