What an awesome story with a cliffhanger that makes me want to read the second book.
Loved this story and the characters. Clive and Eva were such interesting characters with their different personalities.

This is a wonderfully fun book to read. It is very well written and the story is very fantastic. Don't get it twisted. This is not your regular run of the mill billionaire guy meets girl story. OK, yes the hero is rich but he's not the snotty, throw it in your face kind of rich. The heroine also comes from money, so you see they are evenly matched.
The two knew each other when they were younger and the hero has been in love with her ever since. They re-connect as adults when she returns to take over her father's business after he passes away.
The two end up working together because their businesses are connected. Don't go into this thinking this is going to be a story of boy and girl reunite and fall in love. Because believe me it is not that easy. She doesn't just hand over her heart she makes him work for it.
This is a wonderful story with the twists of ex-girlfriends and an ex-boyfriend.
I am definitely recommending this to my friends to read.

Can you find your soulmate in the elevator? In the case of Clive and Eva not only do they have sparks across an elevator but they also had a connection from long ago. But can a playboy win the heart of the girl next door? Will the baggage from their companies connection end the relationship before it can grow? Or will his link to the FBI and the espionage in her father's company be the be all or end all of the romance? With beautifully written characters and a storyline filled with lies, deception, hot sex scenes and enough emotion to keep the reader invested this is a great book. I look forward to the next book in the series.

First book I have read by this author.It was interesting from beginning to end.Eva has taken over her father's company. But some of the companies their have as clients are pulling out . Her company is being investigated and she is falling for the playboy. Someone she never believed she would fall for. Things are interesting with all the characters in this book. Love the chemistry between them all. Very interesting. Can't wait to read the next one.

I read this book in less than 24 hours! For a debut author, Camellia Hart knocked this one out of the park. If you enjoyed reading the Crossfire series by Sylvia Day, then you will love this! The two main characters Eva and Clive, make an adorable couple and you can't help but love them. Actually, all the characters in this book are extremely likeable.
There is a small suspense/mystery aspect. This book didn't end in a cliffhanger, but there were a few loose ends which I assume will be addressed in the rest of the series. I can't wait to read the next one!

I love and hated this book all at once. LOVED Eva as a character! Her and Clive are so different from each other but it works! And what I hate was that this book left me on a cliffhanger and I hate cliff hangers because they lead me wanting more right then and there. I need the second book to come asap so I can see what happens! Loved the read!

A very interesting read for a debut novel in a trilogy series from a new to me author as well.
Eva is the heir of her father design company and although she wants nothing to do with it ,she takes the responsibility to build it up more than before and to prove that she is capable to fulfil her father's dream and carry on with the projects for all of her clients. Fifteen years ago she had a kiss with a stranger but life doesn't go as one wishes and each one gets on with his life.
One of her clients is Clive's company and when everything goes down for her company ,he sticks to her giving another chance,but when he realises that she is the girl that hunted his dreams for so many years ,he knows that he has to do everything to have her and protect from the unknow source that is trying to harm her company,and in order to do that he works close with the FBI.Eva only knows him from the tabloids as he is a very hot,rich and a playboy that takes the first page every time he gets out and she wants nothing to do with him as her past mistakes come back in her mind in full and doesn't allow her to be heartbroken again,but nobody can dictate to their heart and a beautiful friendship is developing between them,along with sweet moments and hot scenes.
A good paced read with both points of view which is developing so much the characters,a bit of suspense but not a big drama at all,a love story that needs to grow more and I hope it will with the next books in this trilogy.

Chasing Eva is the first book I've read from Camellia Hart and after what I just read, will not be the last! I was intrigued by the blurb and captivated by the story...a story filled with intense chemistry, suspense and drama. This book had me flipping page after page because I couldn't put it down, I needed to know what happened and now with that ending I am craving the next book.

Evangeline Avery is taking the reigns of the interior design firm that her father founded. Still sad from his death and completely put off with relationships, she does not expect to be charmed by Clive Stanton. Clive has a reputation as a ladies man who lets them go after a month of their company. Evangeline is not sure she needs the distraction as Clive is one of their clients and someone is spreading rumors about her company and she is striving to keep the clients she has.
Clive knew about the rumors with Evangeline, but when he meets her face to face he realizes she is not involved in the rumors. Clive wants Evangeline, he doesn't do relationships but he wants one with Eva. Trying to get Eva to trust him is another matter all together, especially when he is hiding something from her.
Charming. This story had a bit of mystery as well as plenty of romance. I liked Clive, he is a bit of alpha male and Eva keeps him on his toes. This story is part of a series, no cliffhanger but it does carry on to next book. Great read for putting your feet up and relaxing.

First I’m going to tell you it took me a couple of chapters to get into the book. Not that it was slow it was just the information just felt like too much in some instances and in others not enough.
Second I’m going to let you in on a secret! I want more. I need to know what happens, how it ends.....who did it?
Between the galas, fraud and stalking because let’s face it that’s what was going on......I couldn’t stop reading it. I want to know if who I think is involved is actually the evil spawn.
Third, although this book revolves around one chick and one man there are other optional couples in this book. Which makes it all the more interesting.
