I could not put this book down! One of my favorite books I read this year. It actually inspired me to get my degree, I’m currently enrolled in school and I think about this book constantly. Cupcake shares her life with us and it’s grueling, harsh and heartbreaking but I promise you you won’t regret picking up this book. A fan of memoirs, this is definitely in my top three memoirs that I’ve read so far.

I read this book when I was very young and her story is absolutely captivating. It really gives perspective of life and perfectly details how actions lead to events. I have never forgotten this book. A emotional yet heartwarming story of how nothing is truly impossible.

I don't know how she survived it, but her life makes a good story. So much happens right in the first couple of chapters you find yourself thinking, it can't get much worse. Then, it does. A good read, and a true tale of inspiration.
This was a rough read, but so good. The audiobook narrator was amazing and I really got the feel of the story through her interpretation of the words.
