The dialogue is excellent, and I was able to get a really clear picture of who Holden is. I think it's one of those books that will stay with me for a while though, as I try to figure out where the story was going and why it happened the way it did.

Holden had some insights, but it was incredibly annoying to be inside his head. Speaking as a teenager who has stupid, illogical thoughts sometimes, I couldn't stand him. His concern for children was sympathetic, but that was his only small redeeming trait in my opinion. If I wanted to hear teens whining about their lives, I would spend my life on Facebook. Would not recommend.
