Not nearly as good as similar memoirs by his female contemporaries. (Misandry!)
This was a quick read and I enjoyed hearing his fundamentals for delicious living. I even agree with him on a lot of it like less screen time and all that. Occasionally the narrative felt like it was dragging a bit, but then it would pick back up. Lots of music and literature references so if you're looking for some suggestions you could always follow his!

A beautifully written memoir. Heartfelt, hilarious, and deeply reflective of his Midwestern roots, Nick Offerman takes us from his early days is the farming community of Minooka, Illinois, through his college days at the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign, his successful theater career in Chicago, and his struggles to "make it" in LA.
His work ethic and his carpentry and woodworking skills provide a framework for a life that is more than an elusive chase for success and fame. This book contains life lessons for everyone. My takeaways-go outside and make stuff. I know from personal experience, this is where happiness can be found.

I laughed. However, while I agree with most of Nick Offerman's values (outside > phone), he often came off as sanctimonious. He definitely doesn't seem to subscribe to the philosophy of live and let live.
Nick Offerman's humor is very dry. I did chuckle a few times. I'm rating it right down the middle, at three stars. I certainly don't agree with everything he said, but there were some good points. His work ethic is to be admired, and I do wish I had more of his "gumption," as he puts it. There are two other books and I haven't decided if I will borrow those down the road. If so, it will be some time before I do so. Just didn't resonate with me the same way as other comedy leaning autobiographies
