Would make a great show or movie. It a bit slower pace to try and figure out who-dun-it… kept me engaged.

I really enjoyed this book. The idea behind it was so good. In this book, a girl gets an injury that leaves her only a few days to live. She decides, with the help of a good friend, to solve her own murder before her time is up. There are a lot of different possible culprits and secrets come to the forefront. I'll leave it there so that I don't spoil the book.
The writing in this book is really good. The only thing I kept struggling with was to remember the characters were in their 20's not teens. They sound more like teenagers but it's all good. It really doesn't take away from the book, it's just an observation I made while reading.
I 100% recommend giving this book a read. It's just that good. It has a beginning that pulls you in and an ending that leaves your jaw on the ground! Very good book.

Oh, this really pissed me off...
The best friend's dad? Again?! Also, for the whole premise to be a dying woman solves her own murder (so deeply disturbing by the way. Like if I were her family, I would try to spend every second of that week around her. Even if it was at a distance. Just so I could see her. I'd keep trying. I'd sit outside her door just to catch a glimpse. What was wrong with her family? The men didn't even care it seemed and the mom had the wrong way of showing she did care.)...only for her not to solve it because there are more important things? I call BS. Guess who did solve her murder though? Me. I initially thought it was Billy almost as soon as he was introduced. It was a gut instinct. Just my gut saying that would have been so amazingly shocking. The love interest! And there were a lot of clues pointing to him. But then I realised they were best friends. And Holly still writes the best best friends. Well, except the cunt in this book but ig she wasn't the true best friend. Anyway, so I knew it wouldn't be Billy even though I wish it was. Guessed it was his father before it was revealed and was hoping against hope it wouldn't be because seriously WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT AGAIN IT GETS BORING SO QUICK!
I wonder if I just like YA characters more. So much to root for when all their relationships are at their most intense in the best way possible. So much to care for. When the people in your life might be annoying but you'd die for them because you love them. Before you become jaded. Before you grow up and grow apart and bottle it all up instead of leaving it all out there.
I'm still fuming. I would give it more stars if it didn't make me so mad. Anyway, one star forBilly saying he did it because that's true love folx, take notes. One star for Reggie's letter. The two things that almost made me cry.
