I’m very conflicted. you see, I disliked Jet’s character most of the book because she’s one of those people that thinks being rude to people makes you cool — it doesn’t, it just makes you bitch. but I did kind of like her in the end.
the plot was okay. I think the idea is cool but I found myself being 50-100 pages ahead of Jet which meant that every time there was a shocking reveal it wasn’t very, well, shocking to me. usually I like guessing who the murderer is but here it was almost too easy.
to end on a positive note, the pacing was good and the story did have somewhat of an emotional impact on me. overall this was an enjoyable read but nothing too special.
