Overall a good alien romance, I will say Alice goy annoying at times with how much she didn't trust him based on her past relationships.

I didn't love it as much as the first book with Jade and Theo but it was good.

I'm excited for Izzo's story (if he has one) because he made me giggle when he first showed up and got infatuated with Daisy.

In a word: boring. Boring to the max. Painfully boring.

Binged through book 2 in a matter of hours again. This was so good! I loved our main characters' relationship and them growing into who they need to be (both individually and together).
Glad the bad guy got the ending he deserved! Those little guys are scary!

I’m genuinely considering cancelling all my plans for the week so I can just binge this series.

I liked book 1 sliiiightly more just because it felt like it moved faster. In this book the romance gets a bit more interrupted with external things going on (that said, I am loving the overarching plot, it’s compelling and a great setting for the individual stories).

I loved the characters just as much as the first book - and the few interactions our new couple has with Jade and Theo were really cute. I loved Jade telling Theo off and then trying to explain human women to him.

I really hope we get to see more of Daisy and Izo too, they are adorable.

I didn’t love this one like I did the first. It was still a very well written book with even more world building, but it was just a lot slower. There was instant fated mates, which is fun, but then it heavily relied on miscommunication, and not the language barrier kind. It’s worth the read to finish out the series, but it’s not going to keep you up late to finish it out of excitement.
