Still fun, though not as engaging as the last volume. Yusuke's starting his final test and the fight with Fractured Fairytales started, so that was fun. I did like seeing Yusuke and Keiko have a sweet moment together, though it was literally a moment. I don't have much else to say, just an enjoyable volume.

Yusuke wins the match, but in a final display of rigged corruption, it's deemed a tie instead, but, thankfully, Kazuma wakes up and is able to fight! His fight was definitely a highlight of the tournament, thanks to the appearance of Yukina cheering him on. They finally get to rest and recharge, thank goodness! Also, Genkai finally reveals herself to Yusuke, and gives him a final test, (and her power) in order to ultimately face Toguro. At the same time, the semifinals begin, and it's three against five, Hiei easily winning his, and Kurama close to, until his former form gets unleashed!!

I'm definitely enjoying this arc, and glad to be remembering different parts here and there, like Yusuke's egg hatching into this cute lil monster friend!

The egg has hatched. It looks like a furby with long ears and a bit of hair up top.
It was Genkai and when she uses her magic, for a moment, the buildup of energy de-age her.
Upping Yusuke's power in a cave.
Toguro, man...that's one powerful ttakbam.
More interference.
Hiei being badass.
Kuwabara is back at it.
Yukina (Hiei's sister) appears again. I guess I missed it, but why can't she know Hiei is her brother?
I found out who those random women are- to cover the original ad space.
