THE REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS

While reading this- I was transported to Prythian where I followed Feyre and her friends as they worked to save the magical land that I too had come to love. And after I finished it, I was just left feeling like, life without these characters is not worth it.🥲

WHAT I LOVED-

After UTM, we don’t see all of the High Lords together until this book. We're thoroughly introduced with them and we learn about the tensions amongst the courts. We get to see how their relationship with the Night Court & the Inner Circle.

And let’s not forget the multiple romances in the book. Besides my will-always-be-favorite couple, Feysand❤️, there's a growing romance between Nesta & Cassian. There is also a potential love triangle among Elain, Lucien, & Az. Personally, I don't ship Elain with Az, but we'll see how it plays out in the next books.

The development of certain characters over the course of the story, is my another favorite aspect. Feyre becomes more stronger and self-possessed. Nesta becomes a bit more likable and makes up for her repulsive behavior in ACOTAR. Tamlin also manages to atone for some of his past behaviour. Although, he is still way far from full redemption. Now Elaine.. though I was really sick & tired of her until the very end- but what she did.. god, I didn't saw that coming. It's always the silent & shy ones LMAO.💀
I also liked how our sassy Az was the one to teach Feyre to fly. They were finally bonding and I absolutely loved getting to know Az better.
Also, this book brings Lucien's character back from depressing springtime. His character is redeemable and I felt kinda bad how his character went from snarky & clever to timid & hesitant in ACOTAR. Jurian's redemption arc was weird bullsh!t and I didn’t buy it.

The book is action-packed, full of twist & turns, romance & is a rollercoaster of emotions. Every chapter ends with a cliffhanger- Something is always happening or preparing to happen.
The battle scene was amazing, especially when the last group showed up- *sighs* I had no Idea that I'd be crying If certain characters died but then there I was crying my heart out when the Suriel & the Bone Carver died.😩😭💔

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE-

It had to end.😭😭😭😭
But In all seriousness though, there is not much wrong with this book. The only thing I think could've been better was ~Rhys's death~ God I hate even writing that..😩
No matter how much I FVCKING SOBBED MY EYES OUT over that scene, it still had more potential and could be used in a more better way. It just felt bleh how he was brought back to life within minutes.

ACOWAR is every bit as entertaining as its predecessors, which in this series, is no an easy feat. So yes, I absolutely love this book. I love you Sarah for introducing us to this court of Dreamers.💘

I felt so many emotions when I read this. The book begins with Feyre being the fox among chickens, where she schemes and plots and tears apart the Spring Court, after both Tamlin and Ianthe betrayed her. When Feyre is satisfied, she returns to the Night Court, where they have to deal with the after effects of the misadventure on Hybern. What follows is lots of war prep, alliances, feelings, and WAR.

This was so good, I greatly enjoyed this story. I’m looking forward to more.

I LOVED this book. It was a perfect 3rd book in a series (does that even make sense?) I love Maas's writing—how it perfectly captures what Feyre thinks and feels with just a touch of humor. She deals with serious topics in a very articulate way, but no so much where it starts to sound like an essay and not the characters speaking to each other, you know? (homophobia, domestic violence, sexual assult). Anyway 10/10 book my favorite in the series so far. I ate this book up in like 3 days it was so good (but holy shit it was LONG like 700 pages or something. It wasn't slow paced, but there was just a LOT of plot.)

SPOLIERS:
I LOVED the ending sososo much. I was a little upset with how Tamlin ended up being such a villian in the second book—this gives him a little bit of redemption from how he treated her before. I mean he's still not my favorite character, but I'm glad he isn't ALL monster. And Rhys. Oh Rhys, I love him so much hes literally so great (I'm a little scared to read the next book what if my dear Sarah makes him mean like how she made Tamlin mean?????????????????? I WILL BE DESTROYED!!!!!!!!!). One of my favorite parts of the plot was about the old monsters. For some reason, they just really interested me. Like that one guy in the library basement, the bone carver, the lady in the cabin. I just really like them—they had this mystery that none of the other high fae had, you know. I really like the little subplot thing she had going on where all the old monsters like travelled to earth from another place. Oh also, when the monster thing that Feyre would always go to when she wanted answers died... I CRIED SO HARD!!!!!!!!!! My only gripe with this book is that there is just so much meat to it. There is so much plot and so many things to keep up with. That is fairly typical for a 700 page book in a fantasy series, but in my personal opinion, not my favorite thing in the world. But my love for this book goes way past superficial page numbers and huge plotlines, so whatever I can handle it. It's kind of just part of reading these huge fantasy serieses. The spice level in this book was ALMOST the right amount. I felt like it could use a little bit more (like 2 or 3 more spicy scenes, you know to keep the momentum going) but still great. I love how she uses so much intamacy when writing the sexy parts (OH MY GOD THE WINGS????? SO HOT!) anyway back on topic great book 10/10 everyone who likes fantasy books and also sexy men with wings will love it.
