is it bad that every single time lana offs one of those abusive motherfuckers, i start giggling and kicking my feet? because as far as i'm concerned, she's done absolutely nothing wrong.

another great instalment, with far less cringe-worthy dialogue! i think the pacing of this series is done really well, with all these clues about lana's previous life finally starting to come together. we don't know the full story just yet, but that only makes me more eager to learn exactly what transpired the night marcus died.

i also like how we've expanded on delaney grove and its cultish tendencies; that was something that i didn't see coming, but it adds a whole new sinister layer to the story. i want to know what the fuck is up with the sheriff and the awful crimes he's been covering up.

another thing i enjoyed was watching lana and hadley's friendship develop. there were so many juicy tidbits included: from hadley keeping quiet about who lana really is, to lana burning ferguson's polaroid of hadley to protect her, to them actually bantering back and forth the way friends do. it's clear that they both feel a sense of kinship with each other, and this has blossomed into the first real female friendship that lana's ever had. woven between all the atrocities she's committed, it's a very wholesome aspect of the book ❤️‍

Me encanta la relación que están forjando Hardley y Lana.
POR FIN ha llegado el momento de describir cómo se va a vengar y qué ha pasado… este libro ha sido prácticamente innecesario
