I still love Nova and Adrian. Although there is a bit of miscommunication it is completely understandable. IT MAKES SENSE. There is minimal romance. The clifffffff hanger at the end is soooooo cray.
The series is easy to follow, because it is YA. If you want to escape into a different world -- this is your series to get into.

This is the second book where she basically has a role in the main superhero team, but it’s barely there. First book she was unconscious and this book incapacitated. Why even have here there?!
Anyways, apart from that, I liked this second instalment. Things are heating up for the characters as they balance their double lives. The ideas of power being bad for anyone to have too much of, and heroes vs villains (are we really either) are well explored.
Characters are moving forward and continuing the journey. Loving it - being on book 3!
Moderate: Violence
