Story of Nick and Jacob

This was a great story. It’s the first I have read from these authors, and I look forward to reading more.

So much happened in this book, the epilogue was jam packed.

Nick J Russo did a great job narrating this book, always does though.

"He licked my lips and slid his tongue between them, and we played mouth hockey for a few minutes."

Is such a weird description.

Nick Johnson & Jacob Meyer. Nick is a hockey player and Jacob is a 3L. They meet and quickly fall for each other.
Nick wants to come out, which he does, and then it’s a fuckin shit show
this book got v dramatic v quickly. The writing was a bit cringe sometimes and I’ve never read so many references to characters going to the bathroom and peeing in a book before. But like it was cute and I liked how the team (mostly) stood behind nick

What starts off as a bus trip that goes off the trails ends up with an unlikely romance that leaves the reader with a smile on their face. Nick might start off as a closeted hockey player, but there is strength in numbers when the rest of the team rally around the player and his boyfriend Jacob. In the end love wins all and the journey was well worth the time and energy. There is so much more to this book than just a love story.

I read this book a year ago and had such an amazing time with it. I needed some hockey in my life so I decided to revisit our boys. Nick is such a sweet hockey player who is just looking for love and to come out. Struggling being closeted has been hard all these years, but meeting Jacob is just the push he needs. Jacob is struggling after recent heart break but opens himself up to Nick and is ready to accept that they are end game. They’re both so emotionally aware and communicate so well. I love all the hockey guys who showed their support for these two.
