I feel like most teenagers could relate to some of the themes. Ending felt tad sudden felt like it needed just a few more pages. Quick easy read. Overall it was okay.

Loved a lot of things about this, but it ended very abruptly and kind of soured some of my overall feeling. I get that it's left open ended to show that the future's in each person's hands, but that wasn't really reinforced by anything except the comic-in-the-comic.

The art was fun and really caught the period in which it takes place. I saw a lot of characters that might as well have been people I went to high school with. Most of the dialogue seemed smooth and made sense for the characters.

There's definitely more to praise throughout, your best bet is to just read it instead of Goodreads.

I'll absolutely put this in my teen patrons' hands, I think they'll love it.

I didn't think it would be possible to find a story that so accurately captured my high school experience, but this feel like the closest. Winifred is me and reading her story was like holding little me's hand as we read it together and being able to confidently tell her that everything got better once we got out of high school and learned to love ourselves.

Cute coming of age story, very inclusive and thoughtful about the things we tend to hate ourselves about.

just wasn’t my favorite but i’m sure it would be adorable for others.

The art style isn’t really my thing and I couldn’t reallly connect with the characters, but the friendships and conflict were really well done and I love the adults in this being supportive and responsible.
