Already, the Saga of Darren Shan darkens. Twisted, easy fun. Short chapters keep a tight pace.

Woah. The climax is weird af.
I was rather excited to start this series, but now I’m not so sure anymore.
The second book is rather … boring, I have to say.
I know this is supposed to be a children-friendly book, but I still think the addition of Sam and RC is totally not required.

TRIGGER WARNINGS:
-Child Death
-Graphic Descriptions
-Body Horror

Another great installment- But again, NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED. Written for a younger audience, but with enough gore and suspense to entertain seasoned horror buffs.

Can't wait to start the next one!

My nine year old neighbor gave me this to read…I am slightly concerned. Would of loved this as a kid though so I get it.

I know this is tagged middle school but I'm kind of surprised... I'm not sure my daughter is up for this kind of read lol

Darren is now a half vampire... although his senses have increased significantly, they're not as strong as they can be since he refuses to drink human blood. Mr. Crepsley is trying to convince him but Darren is standing firm.

An amazing plot , actions that make Darren, well Darren. This actions also give dilemmas and personal problems. An exciting and unexpected ending. The beginning didn't really catch my attention.
Overall thumbs up!
