I had a blast again, and just as in book 1, Millie is what makes these books so great. An awesome flawed main character, impulsive, blunt, all over the place, I just love following along with her POV. There are many other characters in it though, especially Caryl who I already liked from book 1. The story was bigger and the world building was definitely on a larger scale than last time around, and I had a good time with it, although I am still sometimes confused by the Fae lore things and not always as interested in those bits. But I’m here for the characters and the writing and will be here for book 3 as well.
