I just did not like the main guy. His mooning over fmc was annoying and cringing right now the gate. Got the ick. I don't have time to read books I dont enjoy reading

I'm disappointed I didn't read this book first (of the Jansen Brothers' books). I totally missed it was part of a series and read them out of order. Having met Chris and Everly in the next books within the series I was already drawn to their story and Chris' treatment of Everly's anxiety. I enjoyed reading of their meeting and the game show style story was fun to read!

I feel like I am on a bad train of romances lately and it feels like this pairing is part of it. The anxiety representation in this one was solid. That being said, frankly I wanted development from the couple as a couple as well.

I received an ecopy of this book via Netgalley; however, my opinions are my own.

Main: Chris and Everly
Plot: Everly is super shy and producer for a morning show. The manager who is secretly the owners son takes an interest to her at first after she has a horrible birthday when her bf cheats on her and she spills it on the air. His dad wants them fired so in an effort to save their jobs, he creates a dating show for her to find love again. They end up falling for each other and she finds out about the dad - the dad threatens to close down the studio. Him and his brothers buy it and he plans to stay on CA. His brother Noah arrives at the end and wants to move to CA too.
