I really loved to decipher things from Molly’s perspective. Mainly the start of the book and somewhere in the middle were my favorite parts. Well written!

I really enjoyed this book, although our main character Molly was a bit too stereotypical and rather inconsistent. The undocumented Mexican hard-worker
Spoilerthat unwillingly sees himself involves in a drug operation
is very unnerving as well. Speaking of which, where is this book suppose to take place? It feels the action takes place in the UK, the characters speak as British, but I perceived some American references and issues… On the other hand, the author is Canadian, so I was very confused.
All in all, an interesting story whose character lack depth.

I always love a murder mystery. I really liked this one because Molly is such an interesting and at some times, unreliable narrator. I thought I knew what was happening and then the main character drops a bit of info she did isn’t share earlier and it changes everything. Can’t wait to read the sequel.

This was cute and fast! Major problem was with the MC…I assume she is on the spectrum and I love that representation however at times she was portrayed in a stereotypical/poor light? Idk if it’s just me but the author traversed a fine line between portraying autism and plain stupidity? I could never quite tell if she was being insensitive or not…
