I really liked this story! It felt like the perfect holiday read this year, and really it felt like multiple stories delicately mashed together into one book, and it worked really well for me.
Great characters, and a lovely holiday setting without being toooooo much.
I love how she writes queer joy and resilience, family and purpose... and of course romance. This one is a perfect combo of it all, which makes for what I call a "romance with depth."
Thank you to @netgalley, Georgia Clark, and Random House for my advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

Honestly, this book was a great time. It actually gave me a burst of inspiration for my own story! It was full of silliness and love and family nonsense!
Juggling three different storylines with three different siblings plus their mother and separate love interests is a feat I can’t even behind to wrap my head around much less pursue writing. So kudos to Georgia for that. I thought the author did well with making sure the siblings were distinct enough you were able to tell who was who. I do lowkey wish the ending was a smidge more realistic (I felt a lot of the mess that caused the third act breakups was just quickly cleaned up) but I’m glad everyone got what they wanted. Liz and Ravi were my favorite and Birdie annoyed me 🥲

As far as holiday romances go, this is definitely the best one I've read! I absolutely loved the dynamics between the characters and really appreciated the queer representation.
As a romance, It was super sweet had the perfect amount of spice. As a holiday read, it *really* got me in the mood for quality time with loved ones, winter hikes, festivities, and cozy nights in ❄️🧦

I wanted to love this book. I’m queer and love Christmas! But I really only enjoyed Raf’s storyline. I found Liz and Violet to be incredibly annoying. Birdie’s character felt like such a caricature and her sobriety story did not feel authentic. Every single character needed major therapy - like years of it. The author’s notes indicate at the end that she cut over 98k words to get to the final edition including many more characters. I felt like the book would’ve been better if it focused on one sibling’s story as compared to all three plus Bab’s side story. It just didn’t do it for me.
