This was a cute Christmas romance. There was a lot happening with three romances and three siblings plus their mom’s stories unfolding and it felt a bit preachy at times. But it had lots of holiday charm and was exactly what you want from a Christmas romance.
I wanted to like this and I did like some of it but mostly it was just…. Not good.

every storyline, every character, every romance, every complicated feeling, every relationship, was JUST SO LOVELY.
i fell more in love with the Belvedere siblings with every page that passed. Liz and Violet were electric and i loooooved the tension. Birdie and Jecka were unsure and tentative and i wanted to shout at them to keep moving forward!! Rafi and Ash were sensuous and comfortable and i was ready to sink into their love.
i related SO much to Liz's eldest sibling syndrome she suffered from and her sticking to her guns even when people told her she was wrong. i related to Birdie's coping mechanisms (although not literally) and her desperation for someone to stick around. i related to Rafi's depth of his feelings and the queer longing he felt. and their family relationships!! the sibling dynamic!! it was utterly perfect.
i really need everyone to read this book. it's so beautiful and perfect. ❤️❤️
