Thank you so much to Georgia Clark and NetGalley for this e-arc! I went into this book not realizing it was darker than a cute wintery romance. Honestly, I’m glad this was interspersed with more serious topics as I felt if this were strictly romance the book would be a lot more one-note than it was at some points. I also think that the pacing was kind of draggy in certain areas, as I just wanted all the couples together. Huey, Dewey, and Louie are excellent Pomeranian names. I admire every character’s choices that led to their growth.
