"(...) name yourself for the
first time in your whole life and wait
for the audience to gasp in horror
when the monster walks out
alive."

Reading a trans and queer poetry collection is a special sort of delight. Not all poems worked for me, but the ones that did hit hard. Damn, but this was good.
