The book was funny with multiple laugh out loud moments for me and had many modern day references, like iPads and pumpkin spice lattes. I didn't find the book to be one that draws me in and I just HAVE to finish it as fast as I can, but the last few chapters moved quickly, were full of action, and wrapped things up nicely. Though the story doesn't exactly end like you think, it is still a happy ending (my preferred ending for stories).
One thing I didn't care for was some of the language used. I'm not a fan of four-letter words and think they are usually unnecessary, but they did fit the character that used them most often. I'm mostly noting for other readers who like to know about these things when selecting a book to read.
