This is my favorite Shakespearean comedy I’ve read so far. While Claudio and Hero are the main love pair, Beatrice and Benedick steal the play. They are both witty, hilarious, proud, and bombastic. They are without a doubt my favorite coupling in Shakespeare.

Also, this play does the best at toeing the line of a tragedy. Acts IV & V feel so dark, which makes the ending all the more joyous.

The only thing I remember about this play is that the word "Nothing" in the title is Elizabethan slang for c@^t. I don't know if this is true or not, but it does mean that the title essentially means: Much ado about F#^%ing. Which is pretty true as that is what the play is mostly about.

Whether this is true or not is moot as I have not bothered to research my poor memory and now I have added this "fact" to the internet.

Yay me.
