this was a wild ride, the author did a great job creating suspense. I don’t usually feel scared while reading but there were a few times that I genuinely felt nervous because I was engrossed in the characters. it was sad to see how many families were torn apart because of charlie for years to come.

3.5 Stars.
This was good, engaging crime fiction. Not a moment of dullness.
The combination of the right amount of spook, urban legend served up quite a hot dish, and honestly, I lapped it up. I do have some issues, but those can be ignored, because this was such a fast read.
The book centres a lot around teenagers obsessed with lucid dreams, and those parts in the story were quite quite creepy. The narration was one of the best things about the book - fluid, clear and detailed in the right amount. The mix of perspectives proved to be favorable to the plot. And the twists, albeit not shocking, were surprising enough. I like the fact that the author has spent some time in detailing out the characters, major and minor, for the story. That somehow brings a beautiful dimension to the book.
A good enjoyable read for crime fiction lovers.

Lucid dreams, murder, mystery coupled the feeling that something is about to jump out at you any minute, this is the perfect book to snuggle up to with a good cup of coffee.
