I'd love to finish this right away, but will be focusing on other things for a while
This is the second and last time that I will read Jane Austen. I struggle reading books that are more than a couple of centuries old, and do not enjoy them. The language is very outdated, and understanding the style of writing doesn’t come naturally to me. The plot is hard to follow and I can’t relate to the characters.
Reading should not be a chore. I almost DNF but forced myself to complete it because it is a prompt on a reading challenge I'm participating in. I guess I can’t follow it because her writing doesn’t interest me enough.
