Sadly I didn’t enjoy this as much as I hoped I would <\3 I loved p&p, but there was significantly less to grab a hold of here. I felt like Anne was sidelined during her own story for a set of side characters I could have lived without. There were some great moments, and I enjoyed the section in Bath a lot more, but I can’t get away from how disinterested I felt through half of this book and how long it took me to finish it.
Not as fun as the other Austen books. Still worth a read if you're a hopeless romantic

I love reading Jane Austen bc it reminds you that people back then were also in situationships and hung up over their exes like people are today. Also there were so many small moments of romantic yearning!!!
The first classic I’ve finished in a while (and not for school)!! Usually classics are too slow for me but I loved this one. The satire was clever and it was making me emotional at times.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love. love. Love! This is my second Jane Austen novel, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first one (Pride & Prejudice
