Well, this is extraordinarily well done among the works of Agatha Christie I've read so far. I understand why this is her most famous work of this series. The reveal was fantastic.
It relied a lot less on guess work than it often does in other Poirot stories even though some were still a little farfetched. What bugged me a little is that sometimes the reader was missing information to guess along. Overall it was very fun to try and solve the case alongside the characters though, it was almost interactive in a way.
As always, I was very charmed by Agatha Christie's prose and the humorous comments/moments sprinkled in throughout the story.
This is really among the best murder mysteries I've ever read.

This was my first Agatha Christie and I liked it! It was more cozy than I was expecting. The beginning was a bit boring and overwhelming with the amount of characters but it kicked off after the murder.

For the most part I liked the format where Poirot interviews each suspect one by one which repeats as more information gets revealed. I did manage to figure it out before the reveal (like an hour ish before the end of the audiobook) but that didn't lessen my enjoyment and i second guessed it. It was a well crafted mystery.
