This was a lot of fun. It felt like playing cluedo, even on the way the book was structured, it was designed in a way that invited to make theories and guesses. The ending felt a bit of cheating, but still enjoyed the process of guessing.
Fabulous, classic Christie detective fiction. Not necessarily my favorite but fast and entertaining read.

What tremendous fun. My first Agatha Christie book and I absolutely inhaled it. Characters are larger than life and the story moves at breakneck speed. Loved it.

This will always be a favourite of mine from Agatha Christie! It is the first one I read from her, this time being the second! I already knew who committed the crime, but the way the story unfolds brings me back to my younger days, when I first discovered the love for reading! There is a certain atmosphere to this book (and Christie's books in general) that is related to the fact that it was written so long ago, depicting aspects of the life at the time, making it seem more plausible than some modern books that depict events from the same time period.
