Never disappointed with these books. Michael and Margaux and such a great team and you can feel the love they have because of how Angel and Victoria wrote their story. Loved it. Can’t wait to start No Lucky Number next.

As the saga continues with Michael and Margaux, I fall more in love with this couple with every page. They have both admitted that they love each other, but needing to keep her safe from the people in his past comes to a head when the attack on his mother puts him on the defense. When he walks away will Margaux be able to make him listen to reason? Or will this be the end of both of their HEA? This story had me crying ugly tears and wishing I could just hug them. So much emotion!! I absolutely am in love with this series and cannot wait for more.

Once again, Angel Payne and Victoria Blue weave together an incredible book and leave me absolutely speechless.

In the last book No Perfect Princess (Book 3), we met Michael and Margaux, two people who were complete opposites, yet were so drawn to each other but continued to fight their urges and feelings.

In book 4, No Magic Moment, we continue the story with these two and let me tell you now, it was such an emotional roller coaster. My emotions and heart strings were all over the place. One minute I’m laughing, the next I’m crying, the next I’m gripping my book so hard it bends the edges, and the next I’m squirming in my seat! Gah! I love it!

These two bring things to surface for me and how much I can actually relate to their relationship , so I can’t help but hold on tightly to these two characters and if I’m honest, I think they’ve become my favourite characters.

At first impressions I wasn’t Margaux biggest fan but as we dives into her and Michael’s story, Angel and Victoria have shined a light on why she is the way she is and in this book, I saw sides of her that I could relate to. Her strength and her ability to fight for what she wants and believes in, I admire that about her. The fact that she struggles to find a way to express her emotions, and to shed a tear or let herself feel any pain or let others see her feel the pain she’s feeling, it broke my heart in to a million pieces. I really felt so much for this girl and so much I could relate to. It was actually scary!

Michael has always been seen as the good guy, the guy who will help anyone in need but in this book you start to see other sides to him. One side in which I wanted to climb into the book and strangle him. But, yet.. he still held my heart. You start to see more of a dominant side to him and part of me wanted to scream at him but I’ll admit, the other part of me found it hot as hell!

They both finally admit their feelings for each other and things finally start to work in their favour, but that doesn’t mean it’s all heart and flowers, love and happiness. After some unforeseen unfortunate events occur. Michael is left feeling as though he needs to keep her safe from people in his past and the only way he thinks he knows how to is leaving her. But in reality him leaving her is what hurts her the most.

The chemistry, the connection, the intimacy and heat between these two is all consuming and HOT!

Will he be able to keep her safe at a distance? Will he see that he’s hurting her more than anything when he leaves? Will he open his eyes and see he’s made the biggest mistake ever? Will she hold on and wait for him to see sense? Will they both fight for their love? Or just call it quits?

This story grabbed hold of me so tightly and didn’t let go, it took me a few days to process it all. Once again, Angel and Victoria deliver an amazing, emotional, heart breaking yet beautiful plot, that left me in pieces.

If I could rate this book higher than 5 stars, I would!

This entry in the Secrets of Stone series focuses on Margaux & Michael.

We learn more about Michael's past & how dirty his uncle really is. We also get to see a more likeable Margaux.
