I enjoyed this book, but I write this to warn those who might be hurt by reading it.
This book has neurodivergent rep, but as it is set in the 19th century this means that these characters are not treated kindly by everyone.
If these characters being hidden away or being yelled at for existing is something that might trigger you…
Although I will add that there are also characters in this book who are understanding and patient enough to figure out how to best communicate with them, so it’s definitely not only negative.
It’s not a major part of the book, but it is very clear.
