I have problems with Red Sonja, always have. On one head, I love her kick assery. On the other head, I mean, look at the cover. She is so off proportion isn't she? And would you wear that in battle?
To be fair, the artwork in her books, covers aside, as always stuck me as far less pin-up than say that of Witchblade or Vampirella.
But, I am sorry, but no way is she way that as a bottoms and riding. One, she would have so many friggin saddle sores. Plus the way the artist drew her astride with her lion cloth trailing behind her, women don't ride like that. It is so blasted annoying.
And I am sorry, but folks, you need to stop the "I wear this because it distracts men" reason for why the woman dresses that way. It only works in Ghost. Just saying.

A reasonable starting point, if not particularly exciting, but why is there a giant snake on the cover and not in the comic?
