I feel like this is such an important read for anyone and everyone in this time of economic crisis and overconsumption/resource crisis. Written in such a lighthearted and fun manner (I love Australians) and a great perceptive shift for those who have been raised with the excesses of modern capitalism. I will be recommending to everyone I encounter!!

The whimsy is a little overblown, as well as the binary hypotheticals: "Would you rather spend money and give yourself cancer and die in a heap or save a dollar, make a thousand friends and save the world?" etc BUT there is plenty of advice worth living by in this book. I particularly enjoyed it because I live by a lot of what it preaches so I was able to revel in self-congratulation. Nothing groundbreaking, but a friendly reminder to remain conscious of what you do with your money - and to value and appreciate the things you already have.

Great tips - some very obvious, but reiterated in a pleasant way. The authors are witty and funny and make the reading experience fun while also being informative and interesting.
