“I tore off my mask so as not to lose one of her tears... and she did not run away!...and she did not die!... She remained alive, weeping over me, weeping with me. We cried together! I have tasted all the happiness the world can offer.”

A classic Gothic horror that's full of suspense!
Although I may be one of few readers to dislike the Opera Ghost, I did absolutely love this story. It took a couple of chapters for the pace to pick up, but once it did, I was hooked. The final chapters are especially thrilling and I love that the book features all the classic elements of a Gothic horror.
