i'm finally giving up and dnfing this. i've enjoyed the rest of this series, but this one just isn't vibing with me. i think it's bc kent is clumsy in such a cartoonish way that it doesn't feel real. and it's constant. the secondhand embarrassment is too much

Wardell has a way of creating fun, believable and spicy scenarios. Napkins & Other Distractions has all of that, but I personally felt that it lacked something, maybe a little tension between the characters.

Vincent and Kent are like those friends who you know would make a great couple and you're not-so-secretly trying to get them together.

Even though you come to love the characters, my favorites are still Theo & Sheldon.

Vincent and Kent are like those friends who you know would make a great couple and you're not-so-secretly trying to get them together.
