Gets more spicy as you keep reading. Cute love story about older men (53 and 40-something) falling in love despite their self-believed shortcomings

Ok I struggled with this rating cause I did enjoy the book and I thought the representation at least for the first half was pretty good.

One thing that really really bugged me and is for sure influencing this review was the fact that Kent kept putting Vincent in situations where he was going to be triggered. He practically would insist that Vincent join in on these activities. While Kent does go out of his way to make sure that these events are successful for Vincent there is no communication before or listening to Vincent’s thoughts. And then things that would trigger Vincent would all of a sudden not trigger him anymore which I felt came off a bit too much like “it got better” because of Kent’s pushing.

Like I’m not saying that particular triggers cannot become less triggering but that feels more like something that is done intentionally with healthy communication and a professional and not something done without consent/ open communication from essentially someone you recently started dating.

I’m always speechless after a good read or maybe I’m just too lazy to articulate all my thoughts but I adored this.
The best OCD representation with the cutest dynamic ever top it off with all the things I learnt + how filthy this was, it’s safe to say I had FUN. The chemistry in this pages made me think about LOVE in every sense of the word.
It’s a 4.75
