Kent felt a bit cartoonish; Vincent was very one dimensional, his only characteristic was OCd and he never gets treatment for it!?

I eagerly awaited this book, as I absolutely loved the first two in this series, so I was disappointed when this one felt so flat to me. I didn’t love either of the main characters & found their quirks inconsistent. Sometimes they felt strongly about one thing then didn’t acknowledge the same issue at a different point in the book. The spice was also a bit more graphic in ways I don’t connect with which is entirely personal preference, not a fault of the author.
The actual plot also moved much more slowly in this one than the others & I’m not sure what the actual storyline even was. So much time was spent on how clumsy/messy one character was vs how severe the other one’s OCD was but the actual plot was significantly lacking beyond those two defining characteristics of each MMC. I will give the author another chance on future books but this one wasn’t it for me.

I like Kent and Vincent in this book. I'm surprised how much kink stuff the book went into but it was fun. Also the ending felt like it wrapped up really quickly. I'm curious about the next book since it's going back to Marvin and Olan.

I really liked this newest book in the Teachers in Love series. We are following the story of Kent (sunshiny clumsy disaster) and Vincent (LEGO loving OCD secret romantic). These two mature MCs have not had much luck in the love department but are still willing to try and find that right someone. That brings them together on a first date that is a series of mishaps that still lead to a spicy night. Then they find out they will be working on a career defining project for both of them. Through accidents and missteps, these two sweet men build a nice relationship that was a joy to read.

I've honestly really enjoyed each book in this series so far. Seeing different couples in each one has been fun so far. Can't wait for the next one, which I think we are going back to one of the other couples. Which is fun.
Getting Vincent and Kent in this one was cool. I'm not personally clinically OCD, but seeing that was also cool. I feel its not even represented enough. Especially I'm a way that feels I could see someone like Vincent in real life. Kent is really sweet and as a bit of clumsiness, which I feel I've come across. And the two work so well together.
