Vincent and Kent were both absolute sweethearts. They were very different in their presentation - Vincent being quite shy, deliberate, and needing order, routine and structure to feel safe and Kent being chaotic and clumsy - but they were both so kind and patient and willing to take the time to understand each other. Both characters were complex with their own difficulties and pressures in their lives. Vincent's OCD added another layer to the story, I would be interested to know more of the cognitions around what he thought would happen if he didn't do his compulsions as this wasn't really explored but I think it's good representation and that it doesn't paint Vincent as an unlovable burden. He is loved by Kent because of who he is, and not in spite of his OCD. There are so many moments of consideration and kindness from Kent in relation to this and also visa versa.
There is a lot of sex scenes, like a lot, and they explored a lot of new things with each other. It did feel a touch overwhelming with how frequent (and detailed) they were towards the end. There was also a lot of data related talk which I totally understand was necessary for the plot and their jobs but because I don't really understand it it did take me out of the story sometimes.
The characters and the writing style really made this book enjoyable.

Holy smokes!!!!! Kent & Vincent are absolutely 🔥🔥🔥🔥 together. The other two books in this series are spicy but this is on another level and I LOVED IT! Outside of the spice though these two have such a genuine beautiful connection. They truly just GET each other and it’s so lovely to see. The mental health representation was also top notch! Vincent’s OCD was never ever portrayed as something that needs to be fixed like I’ve seen done in media before. When Kent tells him he’s not broken? My heart melted! This series truly has my heart.
