It starts out very slow and is hard to get into. But once they make the "discovery" around chapter 10 things turn into a frenzy. So much of a frenzy that it had me audacity yelling at the book. It got me all amped up and it was hard to get back to work after reading.
The story and characters were great, compelling, and sucked you in, but i found myself let down in some ways.
The descriptions of the actions and the feelings of the main characters were well done, but I found it lacking as far as 'painting a picture'. There were a lot of things just left wide open with no answers or explanations. She did a lot of stupid things that bugged me so badly!!!!

Eh.... not my favorite. I enjoyed the premise but felt that some of the plot points were so implausible it was a stretch to believe it could actually happen. The pacing didn't quite work for me, it was a little slow in places or totally rushed over in other parts and I found the main characters decisions really irritating

I enjoyed listening to the audiobook. The first chapter is very captivating, and the next several chapters are kind of all over the place. The storyline is more steady past chapter 10. Definitely held my interest the whole time and was very suspenseful. Overall a good read with an unexpected twist towards the end

Slow build up of the story, but kept going because I was determined to find out what was in the bag and how it resulted in the burial that happens at the very beginning of the book. Fun book--Listened again with R at the lake.

This book traveled at the same speed of that jet that crashed - faster than the speed of sound. I’m the midst of it, many details were brushed over, many Randos were introduced, and she became a cunning mastermind. It was all a bit much and there was not an ounce of realism to it.
