I’ve been a fan of the movie version forever, but the book is so much better! I wasn’t expecting it to dive so deeply into bigger evolutionary themes and have such hot takes about the earth and time. Started reading this while I was in a remote part of the jungle so maybe that helped me feel more into it than I otherwise might have, but still!

To była bardzo przyjemna przygoda, choć z paroma zastrzeżeniami.
Lex to dla mnie tak irytująca postać dziecięca... Z jednej strony jest na tyle duża, żeby mówić do dorosłego faceta "kochasiu", a z drugiej strony są do niej używane non stop określenia "rączka, piąstka, główka" itd? I te jej głupie, takie same pytania. Dziiiiiizas.
Do końca książki, czyli przez 510 stron nie mogłam się przyzwyczaić kto jest kim, tych postaci i ich nazwisk z imionami było tyle, że po prostu było ciężko. No i te wykrzykniki. Za dużo wykrzykników, za często.
Miałam też parę zgrzytów logicznych, jak to, że dinozaury się grzecznie ukrywały pod pokładem statku, albo że wskoczyli do tego gniazda na końcu i akurat im nic nie zrobiły, no bo przecież.
Ps. czytałam w najnowszym wydaniu od wydawnictwa Vesper i korekta tutaj, a raczej jej brak, woła o pomstę do nieba.
Mimo tego wszystkiego, miło spędziłam przy niej czas.
