Skip this one. CW: attempted rape, intended setup for rape, "pretend" rape where the supposed good guy takes an awful lot of liberties. It read like a rape fantasy, which is very much not my thing.
This author's more recent books are pretty good. This one was first published in 1985 and was impossible for me to get through. DNF @ 18%
