DNF chapter 25. Should have DNF’d much earlier but kept hoping that the story would finally get interesting and I wouldn’t find the FMC to be so insufferable. Finally accepted that it wasn’t going to change.

I really liked this one. I loved both main characters and the silly storyline. Top tier reading experience about fun characters enjoying an all inclusive resort for the first time while I was at an all inclusive resort with my besties for the first time. The writing in and outside of the dialogue is so witty and fun, the girlies and I had a wonderful wonderful time cackling together poolside about this book. I'm excited to check out this author's other work.

This had great banter, a silly but enjoyable premise (he needs a fake girlfriend for vacation, she needs time away to work on a work project), some tender moments about family and recovering from heart break, and light spice (not closed door, but not super explicit) Perfect vacation read, the girlies had a blast.

This was nerdy and fun. Forced proximity, fake dating, rebound relationship with a one-eighty (kissing only) stand to start us off. A bit drawn out in the middle, as the meat of this book takes place over only seven days....

Originally, I was going to give this book a 4 star but the ending had me big cheesing and getting a lil teary eyed that I said, fuck it, give this bitch the extra star
