A slow-burn horror that's worth the wait. Something is /very/ wrong at the Southern Reach, something that may surpass mere mismanagement...

There's a scene in this book that gave me literal chills, if you read it you'll know the one.

An absolutely perfect, sublime book. It goes above and beyond Annihilation, which is something I didn't even think would be possible, and the creeping, slow build had me silently screaming as I read it.

It's everything a sequel should be. Hell, it's everything a horror book should be. Easily one of the best books I've ever read.
