So fun! I liked this a lot better than Team Avatar Tales. The stories in this one were a lot longer in general which meant that the whole thing felt a lot less disjointed. I also liked that the artist was more consistent in this one... only one or two of the cartoons were drawn by a different cartoonist, so the style wasn’t jumping around so much and looked very similar to the style of the animated series.
I’m looking forward to moving on to the graphic novels that pick up after the end of the animated series. These episodic books with more stories that take place during the timeline of the series are great but lack the story arc that make graphic novels great.

I’m always happy to have more Avatar content. All of this was filler for the show, and therefore not plot relevant, but still plenty of fun. Well imagined and gorgeous art, this is a great addition to a fan’s Avatar collection, but not essential reading. I did enjoy seeing these pieces that didn’t make it into the show, but showed more about the characters and their thought processes during the seasons of the show.

Hella cute, a quick read, unnecessary to read if you want to jump right into any of the other ATLA literature but still a fun read.

Im really impressed with how perfectly these stories fitted with the original TV series- they could have easily been actual episodes. Its great to see the show continued in this way :)
