My first foray into hetero romance and this was so cute! I didn't realize it was a sequel to Olivia's first in the series, Spoiler Alert, but thankfully, it was pretty easy to dive in without too much knowledge of what happened in the previous book. I enjoyed their banter and connection quite a bit and the sex scenes? Phew, steaaaaamy. Alex's obsession with pegging was a delight (though I was bummed to see there wasn't an actual scene in the book!) and I would hope to see more male LIs in hetero romance books give it a go, just sayin. ;D

At the end of the day, I really appreciate that Olivia Dade writes romance novels that incorporate fandom, neurodivergence, and plus women and the men who love them. It's really hard to be mad about this.
I couldn’t get into this one and enjoy it as much as much Spoiler Alert. Tge relationship between Alex and Lauren felt really forced. I did not like the blatant fat phobia either.
