Did I like this book? I don’t think so. 
Would I recommend this book? Yes, with the caveat of certain triggers/content. 
The start of the book was hard, at first I didn’t think I wanted to read about this horrible man, but the writing is at times beautiful and compelling. Also at the end, I skimmed some passages as I just wanted the book to end and not be in the head of the narrator
