AMAZING book, guys. This is actually my favorite Narnian book so far and I’ve only got the last battle left. Why was this so much better than the others? I think it has to do with the writing. And a lot of the other stuff that happened in this book, but I just loved this so much! Definite read.

The visuals of the kingdom in the dying world, with its endless city and its long line of rulers, was extraordinarily powerful to me as a kid and probably shaped me in ways to fundamental to pick apart.  It still holds up.
