i’m actually highly impressed that the authors managed to wrap up a training match within a single volume for once 🙏 i got a lot of entertainment out of this one, plenty of ridiculous trash talk and it was fun to see the two pro players get in the game, also the reveal of the purpose of the wild card program made me laugh out loud bc like didn't we just spend several pages discussing how noel noa's ambidexterity is a god-given gift that can't be replicated...and then ego decided he was just going to try and replicate it anyways by torturing some teenagers....i mean that is very on brand but what the hell 😭
